Technology finds its way into every aspect of our lives, and if we harness it effectively, it can change things for the better. That was the mindset behind creating Pepper’s ePrint service, which allows you to print your own sheet music. It is also the idea behind our new ePrintGo app, which enables you to take your ePrint music anywhere on any device. Both of these digital sheet music options are about providing customers with options they could not get with standard sheet music orders.
And we’re happy to say our customers are responding. Our first digital service, ePrint, which has a selection of more than 200,000 works, is a hit with our customers. For instance, one of our customers from Oregon said, “The availability to get the music into students’ hands immediately with an added benefit of no shipping worries makes this a ‘no-brainer’.”
In Arizona, another customer loves that ePrint “is easy to use and also provides a historical listing in my account to browse if and when additional parts become necessary for growing instrumental group participation.”
And in New York, one of our customers added, “I also like that I can choose to print my music later if I don’t have the time right away.”
Building on this success, and staying in the spirit of harnessing new technologies, Pepper now has created the ePrintGo app to add more ways for our customers to find and play their music. With this app, the ePrint music you buy can be viewed and organized digitally on phones and tablets – even when you’re offline.
ePrintGo is a huge leap forward in addressing the needs of modern musicians. There’s no need to worry about losing or damaging music anymore, because even if you print your digital copies you can still view them on mobile devices as well. Your purchases sync to the app through My Library, so you can always find them again. That’s great if you want to purchase more copies or if you want to play from your device.
We realize that playing from a device is only going to become more common in the future, so with ePrintGo there also are more options for how to view your music. You can turn pages with a swipe of the finger, or use a compatible Bluetooth foot controller. Switching between the score and parts is easy too. And since not all music is the same, you can view everything in portrait or landscape on any sized screen. You also can easily sort your playlist if you need your music in a particular order for a performance.
ePrintGoSM is free to download and available for iOS and Android. Once you make an ePrint purchase, you can sync your new music to the app. Watch our app video for more details.
