J.W. Pepper & Son, Inc. Hires Andrea Pelloquin as Regional Sales Manager

J.W. Pepper has named Andrea Pelloquin the Regional Sales Manager of its Kent, Washington music center. She will use her extensive experience in the music industry to oversee sales at the city’s retail store and across Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Alaska.

Pelloquin is a returning Pepper employee, having worked at the Minnesota branch from 2004-2006. She spent 10 years working at the Hal Leonard Corporation as an account manager, choral editor and Joy of Singing coordinator. She also worked for Jazz at Lincoln Center as the marketing manager for student and teacher programs and most recently for West Music as an education consultant. She also serves on the Communications Committee of the Retail Print Music Dealers Association (RPMDA).

“Andrea has a plethora of experience in the print music industry in both publishing and retail,” said Linda Schmidt, Pepper’s Vice President of Regional Sales. “She is a proven leader with an abundance of enthusiasm, and we are excited to have her heading up the team in our Washington Retail Sales Center.”

Pepper has a total of 12 retail sales centers in 10 states in addition to its headquarters in Exton, Pennsylvania and two distribution centers. The outreach has helped Pepper maintain its role as the world’s largest retailer of sheet music and as the leading supplier of sheet music in schools across the United States.

In addition to educators, the company also serves church music directors and other community and professional groups, along with individual musicians. Aside from sheet music, Pepper also sells music accessories, digital downloads, and music planning services.

Like numerous other employees, Pelloquin brings a wealth of music knowledge to the table. She is a former band director and church choir director and has been teaching private flute and piano lessons for more than 20 years.

“I am excited to be back where my career in this industry began,” Pelloquin said. “And I love what I’ve seen of the Seattle area!”
