J.W. Pepper & Son, Inc. Promotes Nicole Boone to Regional Sales Manager

J.W. Pepper has appointed Nicole Boone to the Regional Sales Manager position at the company’s sales center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this role, she will oversee the city’s retail store, along with sales across a region encompassing North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C.  Boone will travel to attend educational and religious conferences and to visit schools and colleges across this region.

Boone has worked for Pepper for six years and has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Appalachian State University. She started at Pepper as a regional sales associate. Linda Schmidt, Pepper’s Vice President of Regional Sales, says Boone has outstanding communication and business skills.

“Dedicated, energetic and organized are the three words that come to mind when I think of Nicole,” Schmidt said. “She is a natural leader who continually works towards the best possible customer service.  We are excited to have her leading our North Carolina sales team.”

Pepper has similar teams in 10 states at its 12 stores. The employees in these locations and Pepper’s two distribution centers have helped Pepper maintain its role as the world’s largest retailer of sheet music and as the leading supplier of sheet music in schools across the United States.

In addition to educators, the company also serves church music directors and other community and professional groups, along with individual musicians. Aside from sheet music, Pepper also sells music accessories, digital downloads, and music planning services.

Boone is a native North Carolinian and is very active in her church and with Carla Porter Ministries and Living Faith International, providing marketing support for missionary work being done in Nairobi, Kenya.  She also loves to travel.

“I love learning about history and tasting local cuisine,” Boone said. “One of my goals is to eat at the oldest restaurant in every state and so far I’ve marked off 8!”
