My Score Grants Help Composers Reach New Audiences

As part of their initiative to provide the most diverse array of music and composers to their customers, J.W. Pepper is offering grants to its My Score self-publishing service to an array of non-profit composer organizations. Pepper is donating in total 100 My Score memberships to organizations that serve composers in building their careers. Organizations receiving the grants to award to its members include:

Pepper encourages participating organizations to select grant recipients who either have or intend to write music for school-aged performers, with a goal to bring music into schools that represent many voices and backgrounds. According to My Score’s Isaac Brooks, “Through the My Score grant program, Pepper is helping both composers and directors reach their goals. Composers want to find the right audience for their works, and directors are looking to be inclusive in their representation of composers in their programming. We think this grant program will help many along this path.”
