Behzad Ranjbaran’s We Are One for chorus and orchestra was premiered on May 7, 2018 by the Oratorio Society of New York (OSNY) under the direction of Kent Tritle at Carnegie Hall.
The work, which incorporates a variety of texts in multiple languages, is described by the composer as “an expression of our shared desire for respect, justice, freedom, and peace.”
