Beyoncé Donates $100K in Scholarships to Historically Black Universities

    Beyoncé’s Saturday night headlining set at Coachella was the talk of weekend one. Now the GRAMMY winner has announced she’s donating $100k in scholarship funds to be shared among four historically black universities. The singer plans to donate four $25,000 scholarships to be awarded to one student each at Bethune-Cookman University, Tuskegee University, Xavier University of Louisiana, and Wilberforce University through the Homecoming Scholars Award Program for the 2018–2019 academic year as part of her BeyGOOD initiative.
