DCPS Student Musicians Take Over The Kennedy Center

    Student musicians from across the District had the chance to perform at the Kennedy Center this week as part of the annual D.C. Public Schools Music Festival. More than 3,000 students from 30 schools participated in the event.

    Nathan Diamond, Director of Arts at DCPS, says that the festival is a unique opportunity for students to really experience what it’s like to be a professional musician.
