Matías Tarnopolsky Appointed President and CEO of The Philadelphia Orchestra Association

    The Philadelphia Orchestra Association announced today that Matías Tarnopolsky has been appointed president and CEO. A highly respected and passionate leader in classical music and the performing arts, Tarnopolsky currently serves as executive and artistic director of Cal Performances at UC Berkeley, which presents the world’s leading orchestras, ensembles, and musicians in multi-faceted residencies. He has held senior artistic positions with the New York Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and in London.
