Melissa Salguero has been teaching music at P.S.48 Joseph R. Drake Elementary School since 2010. P.S.48, located in the South Bronx, lies is in the poorest congressional district in the United States. Ms. Salguero’s classroom is a place where creativity, curiosity, humor, and hard work combine to feed a passion for learning.
