Dorothy’s iconic ruby slippers from the “Wizard of Oz” make their return to Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History next week.
Beginning on Friday, October 19, from 12 – 3 p.m., the red shoes will be on display, along with the Scarecrow’s hat, which was worn by actor Ray Bolger in the 1939 film, as the museum celebrates the opening weekend of their Ruby Slippers gallery and eight other American Culture displays.
