J.W. Pepper & Son, the world’s largest retailer of sheet music, is pleased to announce the hiring of Ajai Nair as Chief Information Officer, effective September 12, 2022. Ajai will report to Lee Paynter, the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
Ajai comes to Pepper from J.G. Wentworth with over twenty years of experience in IT management. Ajai has served as Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer in diverse industries including retail, real estate, and financial services. His work has included optimizing and automating customer processes to improve overall customer experiences, as well as managing cloud strategy to improve system scalability and redundancy.
Ajai has volunteered his time over the last eight years with Brandywine Robotics, headquartered in Exton, where he is currently president of their board. Brandywine Robotics is the world’s largest student robotics organization, which is dedicated to helping develop the next generation of STEM leaders.

Ajai holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Penn State University and lives in Chester Springs, PA with his wife and daughter.
