J.W. Pepper Positions Sales Team for the Future

on

J.W. Pepper announced today a plan to realign its sales teams to best meet the current and future needs of music educators across the US. As an omni-channel marketer, Pepper serves customers through its industry-leading retail website, direct mail, contact centers, stores, and regional sales teams.

In recent months, J.W. Pepper has provided industry-leading support for music directors and educators who have found new ways to engage with their ensembles and classes. Sales teams continue to host webinars and virtual meetings, bringing educators together to share best practices and tips. Through its many robust social and email platforms, Pepper provides practical information and digital solutions to edify the customers they serve and address the highly specific needs of those in arts education, performance, and worship.

Pepper will continue to serve customers through its two retail stores in San Antonio, TX and Bismarck, ND. Locations in Exton, PA; Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; and Grand Rapids, MI will house sales offices only, with no retail store. All other locations – in Edina, MN; Dallas, TX; Winston-Salem, NC; Indianapolis, IN; Dublin, CA; and Kent, WA – will close their office and retail locations but will continue to provide support locally with sales teams assisting customers virtually. Much of the staff already interacts with customers virtually today as they serve their multi-state territories.

Kathy Fernandes
Kathy Fernandes is Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for J.W. Pepper. With her background as a school band director, studio teacher, and ongoing experiences as a flutist and mother of three musicians, Kathy is immersed in music. She continues to be involved in education by teaching middle school-aged students at her church and also serves on its Pastoral Council. Kathy advocates for a healthy musical culture by serving on the Board of the Music Publishers Association of the United States, as an industry representative for the American Choral Directors Association and through participation on the Corporate Advisory Council for the National Association for Music Education and the Support Music Coalition. Kathy is Secretary of Corporation for J.W. Pepper’s Board of Directors, is a Forbes Communication Council member, and is a former member of the Key Executive Group for the greater Philadelphia area.
