J.W. Pepper is pleased to announce that Tim Keeney has joined the company as Vice President of Supply Chain, beginning March 23, 2026. His leadership will play a key part in ensuring that music educators receive the music and materials they need—accurately, quickly, and reliably.
Keeney brings a strong background in supply chain strategy and distribution operations, with more than 15 years of experience supporting fast‑moving retail and delivery organizations. He previously served as Supply Chain Director at Gopuff, where he helped build nationwide distribution networks, inventory strategies, and supported international expansion. Before that, he held leadership roles at Five Below across multiple functions including Inventory, Distribution, and Transportation, giving him deep experience managing high‑volume inventory and fulfillment systems.
“Music educators depend on us to get the right music into their hands at the right time,” said Marc Barrer, Chief Operations Officer. “Tim’s expertise will help us continue to improve speed, accuracy, and availability—so teachers can stay focused on what matters most: their students.”
In his new role, Tim will oversee purchasing, inventory planning, vendor partnerships, logistics, and distribution center operations. His work will directly support J.W. Pepper’s commitment to providing dependable service to music teachers, directors, and students.
“I’m excited to support the educators and music makers who inspire the next generation of musicians,” said Keeney. “J.W. Pepper has a long history of serving schools, churches, and community music programs—as well as individual customers—and I’m looking forward to helping strengthen the systems that make that possible.”
