New York City, NY – Wingert-Jones Publications received first place for Cover Design for its publication, Bass Fingerings: Improve Your Left-Hand Game, in the annual Paul Revere Awards for Graphic Excellence sponsored by the Music Publishers Association in New York City on Friday, June 16th. The awards were presented at the MPA Annual Awards Luncheon that was held at the Redbury Hotel. Frank Guardino, J.W. Pepper’s Art Director, is behind the design of the award-winning cover.
The Paul Revere Awards for Graphic Excellence were established in 1964 for the purpose of honoring the 200th anniversary of the first music engraving in America. Paul Revere, the well-known silversmith, completed the first engraving.
