In celebration of its 150th anniversary, J.W. Pepper is proud to announce the recipients of its landmark 150th Anniversary Scholarship Program. Fifty-two outstanding students from across the United States, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. territories have been awarded scholarships for their first year of college, majoring in music education for the 2025 school year. Each student received a $3,000 award, with the top scholar receiving a $10,000 award.
This nationwide initiative marks a historic milestone for J.W. Pepper, whose mission has always been rooted in supporting music education and the future of the performing arts. By investing in the next generation of music educators, the company is ensuring that music will continue to thrive in schools and communities for years to come.
“As J.W. Pepper celebrates 150 years of service to music educators, we can think of no better way to honor our legacy than by supporting the future teachers of music,” said Kathy Fernandes, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at J.W. Pepper. “These students represent the passion, talent, and dedication that inspire everything we do.”
These scholars expressed gratitude and excitement about the journey ahead:
“It has been my dream to share the magic of music with others for all my life. With this scholarship, I will be able to develop my skills and share my love and knowledge of music for the rest of my life.” — Jacqueline M.
“This scholarship not only helps me pursue my studies, but also encourages me to continue working toward my goal of sharing music with the next generation, just as my mentors have shared it with me.” — Alison L.
“It means a lot to know you believe in my potential. This scholarship will make a big difference in helping me focus on my education without worrying so much about the financial side of things.” — Madelyn B.
From Alaska to Florida, California to Maine, this diverse group of students brings with them a shared dream of becoming music educators who will inspire, teach, and uplift the next generation of musicians.
J.W. Pepper would like to thank all the applicants and looks forward to continuing this annual tradition. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement this fall about scholarships for the 2026 school year. jwpepper.com/scholarships
