*April 3 Update: Pepper has worked with music publishers to provide a way to share music you purchased with your ensemble members for free online viewing through December 31st. Thanks to our publishing friends for working with us on it! We hope it helps teachers and directors meet their needs. Visit jwpepper.com/sharemusic for more information.
As teachers and directors strive to continue music learning while working remotely, questions have arisen around proper use of copyrighted music in distance or virtual learning scenarios. We are providing here links to information for publishers who have adapted their permission policies to meet needs during the current public health situation. It is not a complete list and is based on information found on publisher websites. Note that Pepper cannot give permission for works we don’t own. Please contact the publisher directly should you need additional information. We hope you find this list helpful!
(If you are a publisher with adapted permissions information to share, please comment on this post.)
